Celebrating our 8th Anniversary...

This summer Joe and I celebrated out 8th Wedding Anniversary. Over the years we have celebrated anniversaries many times I was pregnant or nursing which meant NO TRIPS FOR US!! So FINALLY this year we decided to take a trip just the two of us. We have no exp tickets to disney and decided that we should go. We have been to disney enuf that we can make a theme park trip relaxing. We are never in a hurry to go anywhere or do anything which makes is very relaxing. We got up each morning when we wanted (which usually was never later than 8, which is STILL sleeping in by a few hours for us). We would go and have breakfast, hit a park for a 2-3 hours then head back to the resort. After lunch joe would usually take a nap and I would lay out by the pool. (3 days by the pool for 3 hrs each time was AMAZING!!!!) Then that evening we would go to another park, go to a nice dinner at one of the resorts and get home around midnight. We never waited in line for anything longer than 15 minutes (minus splash mountain in the mk). We watched shows and did all the fun "adult rides" we never do when we go with the children.

One of my brother's, Ryan, best friend has a sister doing an internship down in orlando and is tinkerbell and alice at DW... We got VIP treatment and got to go and see her the morning we went to the magic kingdom. DEFINITELY ONE OF THE HIGHLIGHTS!! Thanks Chelsea! I am posting the pix.... Don't ask what the funny thing is i am doing with arm.... I look like a stiff board...lol




This year at WDW the theme is celebrating. When you check in, you tell them what you are celebrating and you get a certain button I put on my lanyard. All week long we were greeted everywhere by cast members telling us Happy Anniversary.... IT WAS WONDERFUL... it just made you feel special. =)

Hollywood Studios is my favorite park.... We actually hit that park once each day we were there. Rockin Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror are really fun and we never waited more than 10 min the 7 times we rode the ride...

Since we weren't use to waiting, we felt very inconvenienced on the last day when we had to wait for a ride... we went memorial day weekend, but didn't feel the heavy traffic until we got to the mothership (mk)... needless to say, we spent the least amount of time here...




We hit epcot, but i forgot my camera...=( But we had a great trip... here are our final pix from the polynesian resort....




mmmmm.... lots of junk food!!! no diets on vacation!!!!!



We had a great time and can't wait to go on another trip soon....!
